“Through the years I’ve been know by many names…..” Puss in Boots (Banderas) starts this movie out with a great monologue. The story builds and builds while introducing each character deliberately and fully. After stealing some magic beans from Jack (Thorton) and Jill (Sedaris) Puss, Kitty (Hayek), and Humpty (Galifianakas) plant the beans and climb the beanstalk to the sky. There they steal the goose that lays the golden eggs and when they come back there is a price to pay. Mama wants her goose back and greed gets in their way. Hilarious, good story, and well paced movie.
