Joseph Gordon-Levitt wrote and directed this movie which is a pretty good effort for his first full length feature film. The story is about a young man entering a relationship and having to give up things he was used to. Barbara (Johansson) does not want her man watching porn and Jon (Gordon-Levitt) is having a tough time letting go….of porn that is. He befriends Esther (Moore) who noticed Jon watching porn on his phone during class. Jon receives advice from his friends and family who are supportive of his new relationship but something is just not working. Jon goes to confession throughout the movie giving us the count on all of his sins. Jon’s sister has her face stuck in the phone through almost the entire movie but when she speaks we see that she is still noticing what is going on around her almost better than anyone else. This was a very good effort for his first movie and I know that Joseph Gordon-Levitt has a bright future ahead of him.
