Incredibly funny movie about the history of the Grand Budapest Hotel as told by the owner Mr. Moustafa (Abraham). M. Gustave (Fiennes) ran the hotel when Mr. Moustafa was just starting out. We are told tales of the exploits of M. Gustave as we continue to hear about Mr. Moustafa’s younger years. This movie presents us with an odd sense of humour that I found rather enjoyable. There are great performances throughout this movie but Dafoe, Brody, and Revolori are stand outs on the screen. The scene with Dafoe, Brody, and Goldblum with the cat had the whole audience rolling with laughter. If you need a laugh try this movie.
