Barney Ross (Stallone) returns with his gang of mercenaries who are hired to retrieve something from an airplane that has crashed in Russia. Mr. Church (Willis) forces Barney to take along Maggie (Yu) who knows how to get the package off the plane without destroying it. When they get out they are surrounded by a gang known as “The Sangs” who are led by Vilain (Van Damme). He has Billy The Kid (Hemsworth) hostage and forces them to turn over the package but he kills Billy anyways.

Barney finds out that the package will reveal the location of all the Russian plutonium that has been hidden by the government. In the wrong hands this plutonium will be used to kill millions. The Expendables set out to avenge the murder of Billy the Kid and they get a little help along the way from Boomer (Norris) who has been know as a “Lone Wolf”.

This movie is filled with action and it is great to see the stars of the 80′s and 90′s relive their best moments on film. The fight scene between Stallone and Van Damme is excellent.
