Burn After Reading——-Intelligence is Relative

Frances McDormand
George Clooney
Brad Pitt
John Malkovich
Tilda Swinton

Wriiten and Directed by Joel and Ethan Coen

Joel and Ethan Coen are once again bringing their unique twist on a new subject, espionage. Frances McDormand wants some cosmetic surgery and we find out just how far she is willing to go. George Clooney is brilliant again in the completion of what the Coens call his “Trilogy of Idiots” (Oh Brother where art thou? and Intolerable Cruelty are the first two movies). Tilda Swinton is superb as one of George Clooneys lovers, her husband John Malkovich writes his memoirs after “quitting” the CIA. They fall into the hands of Frances McDormand and her not so bright partner played to perfection by Brad Pitt. The story escalates as every character is brought to a boiling point and the CIA is trying to figure what went wrong?
