Christopher Nolan takes the reigns of this Batman reboot and gives us one excellent movie. A young Bruce Wayne (Bale) watches his parents get murdered by a street thug during a robbery and this moment effects the rest of his life. Bruce decides to go underground and explore the life of criminals and ends up in a prison in China. After his release he joins the League of Shadows for training to oppose injustice. Ducard (Neeson) provides the training and helps Wayne face his fears. Wayne then decides to go back to Gotham City to fight the corruption, crime, and injustice that has been ruining his home for years. He has his work cut out for him though, because crime has infiltrated every level of government in Gotham City. The performances by Bale, Neeson, Wilkinson, Murphy, and Oldman are all top notch; this is one movie worth watching again and again.
