Jordan Turner (Berry) takes a call where a young lady is hiding from a burglar in her home. When all is said and done Turner has trouble dealing with the girls murder. Fast forward six months, Turner is now teaching 911 operators ,but not taking calls as a 911 operator. As she makes the rounds with a class of new trainees, a call comes in from a girl who has been kidnapped and is in the trunk of a moving car. The lady who takes the call looks to Turner for guidance and Turner takes over in order to help save the girl. The phone the girl has, is not easily traced which has Turner trying every trick in the book (and not in the book) to save the girl. Berry gives a great performance and Breslin is impressive as the victim who fights back.
