This is a very funny movie in which Gary King (Pegg) comes to the realization that he has to finish a drinking task that he failed to finish in his youth. He gets his teenage friends together to relive the night they tried to drink twelve pints from twelve different pubs in one night. As the group starts their journey they begin to recognize that the town they grew up in has changed. These changes have them quesioning their memories and arguing with each other as they down each pint. It does not take long before Gary has an experience that would have most people running for their lives, but Gary presses on to finish his task and make it to The World”s End pub. The humour is fantastic and this is well worth the watch. This is the third movie by Edgar Wright and Simon Pegg “Shaun of the Dead” and “Hot Fuzz” were the other two).
