This documentary retells the incredible story of a young Frenchman who was in Spain claiming to be a boy from Texas who went missing three years earlier. As the story unfolds I found myself asking over and over again “How can they think this is actually the missing child?” The imposter has black hair and dark eyes but the missing boy has blonde hair and blue eyes. FBI, Spanish authorities, the orphanage, and even the boys own family were convinced this was the missing child. All lies have cracks and as the story continues the cracks become craters which lead to conclusions that I never saw coming.
